anyone going to the Tri-County hamfest next month?

 Loading...

so i heard the Tri-County hamfest is back this year, last time i went was like 2019 before everything got cancelled and i remember they had a decent swap meet section out back. wondering if its worth the drive this time, its about 2 hours for me. anybody know if the tailgate area is still free to set up or did they start charging for that?

yeah im planning on going, our club usually grabs a table inside to do license testing and hand out info. the tailgate thing i think they went to a small fee last year, maybe $10 or something, not sure if thats still the case. worth checking the clubs website. last time i scored a pretty decent antenna tuner for like $20 so i always make the trip even if i dont buy anything big

i went last fall to a different one nearby and honestly the swap meet stuff was pretty picked over by like 10am so get there early if you want the good stuff. also bring cash, half the guys selling gear dont do venmo or whatever
