so i heard the Tri-County ARC is doing their hamfest again in March, supposedly bigger than last year with more vendor tables. im thinking about hauling some gear down there to sell, got a old Kenwood TS-430 that's been sitting in the garage and a bunch of random coax and connectors i never use. anyone else planning to go? always fun to walk around and see whats there even if you dont buy anything

yeah im going, went last year and picked up a pretty decent mobile antenna for like 8 bucks so definitely worth the drive. bring cash though cause half the guys selling stuff dont do venmo or whatever. also they usually have a talk-in frequency listed on the club website if you need it coming in from the highway

I didnt even know there was a Tri-County hamfest, is that the one over by the fairgrounds? I've been wanting to go to one of these but never made it to any yet. would it be weird to show up as a tech licensee with nothing to sell just kinda looking around
