so ive been trying to figure out if its worth making the drive out to xenia again this year. last time i went was like 2019 and it was a blast but i ended up spending way too much money on random stuff i didnt need. found a really nice old drake r4b for cheap though so i cant complain too much. anyway is anyone else planning on going? our local club is talking about maybe renting a van and doing a group thing which sounds fun but also kind of a nightmare depending on who signs up lol. also if anyone knows if the outdoor flea market vendors are back to full capacity id love to know, last i heard some years it gets thin out there

yeah im going, already got the hotel booked back in january. the flea market is definitely worth it if you get there early friday morning, like really early. ive seen guys lined up at 5am and that sounds crazy but thats where all the good deals go. last year i grabbed a barely used kenwood ts-590 for way under what theyre going for online so it pays off. the indoor stuff is cool too but honestly i spend most of my time wandering the outdoor tables. your club van idea sounds fun as long as nobody hogs the aux cord the whole way

this will actually be my first hamvention if i end up going, still on the fence about it. kinda nervous i wont know what im looking at when people are selling stuff. like how do you even know if something is a good deal or not without being able to test it right there
