anyone going to the Tri-County hamfest next month?

so my club just put up a flyer about the Tri-County hamfest coming up on the 14th and im thinking about going but ive never actually been to one of these before. is it worth the drive? im about 90 minutes out. mostly hoping to find a decent HF rig without spending Icom money lol. also does anyone know if they usually have a flea market type setup or is it mostly vendors

yeah hamfests are definitely worth it, especially if you go in with realistic expectations. the flea market tables are usually the best part honestly, thats where you find the weird old gear and sometimes people just want to get rid of stuff and will basically give it away. seen guys walk out with a whole station for like 200 bucks. go early tho, like right when it opens. the good stuff disappears fast and by noon its mostly just random coax and old magazines

went to that one last year i think. parking was kind of a mess but inside was pretty good, lotsa tables. bought a MFJ tuner for cheap that works fine. bring cash
