anybody going to the Tri-County hamfest next month

 Loading...

so our club is trying to figure out if its worth renting a table at the Tri-County fest in March. last year we went and it was kind of a bust honestly, not a ton of traffic and we mostly just talked to each other the whole time lol. but a few guys are saying its gotten better since they moved it to the fairgrounds. anyone been recently or planning to go? also if anyone wants to carpool from the east side let me know, im driving the truck so i got room

went two years ago and yeah the old venue was rough, parking was a nightmare and the flea market tables were crammed into like half a gym. heard the fairgrounds setup is way better, bigger outdoor swap area at least. our club usually does a info table more for visibility than anything else, dont really expect to sell much. if you do go check if theyre doing a VE session, we ran one there in 2022 and got like 8 new techs which was pretty great for the club

id be down to carpool if you got room. i mostly want to dig through the junk tables hoping to find a decent mic or maybe an old HF rig that actually works lol. havent been to a hamfest in like two years since the one near me got cancelled and never came back
