dont know what it is but ive been getting on 40m almost every evening this week just to ragchew and honestly its been great. nothing special, just talking to whoever is around, worked a guy in kentucky last night for like 45 minutes about his garden of all things. sometimes i forget why i got into this hobby and then a week like this reminds me. anyone else been having a good run lately or is it just me

yeah 40m has been real good to me lately too. propagation feels like its finally cooperating after that rough stretch we had. i worked into the UK last tuesday around 0100z which i wasnt expecting at all, just happened to be spinning the dial and caught a strong signal. those random contacts are the best ones honestly

lol a 45 minute qso about gardening sounds perfect actually. thats the stuff. i just got my general last month and im still kinda nervous to just call cq out of nowhere but reading stuff like this makes me want to just do it already
