anyone going to the Tri-County hamfest next month

 Loading...

so our club is doing a table at the Tri-County fest on the 14th and i was wondering if anyone else from around here is planning to show up. last year was pretty decent, got a barely used MFJ tuner for like 20 bucks and talked to a few guys i hadnt seen since the one in 2019. the swap meet tables have been getting smaller every year though which is kind of a bummer. still worth the drive i think if you need random coax adapters or want to dig through a bin of mystery knobs

yeah im planning to go, my buddy from the repeater club said hes bringing a whole trunk load of stuff to sell so the swap meet might actually be decent this time. i need to find a working HT, something cheap just for backup. also i think the ARRL rep is supposed to be there doing license exams in the afternoon if anyone needs that

went last year for the first time and honestly didnt really know what to expect. ended up just walking around for like an hour not sure what half the stuff even was lol. but the guys at the club table were pretty helpful and i ended up signing up for the local club so thats something i guess
