so i decided to finally go for my technician license after years of just thinking about it. my neighbor has been a ham for like 30 years and he keeps telling me to just do it already. anyway i bought one of those study guides from amazon but honestly its kind of overwhelming, theres so much stuff in there about electronics and regulations and i dont even know what to focus on first. like does the actual exam pull questions directly from the question pool or are they paraphrased or something? i feel like if i could just memorize the pool id be fine but im not sure thats how it works. also is the gordon west book still the go-to thing or is there something better now
