anyone going to the hamfest in Dayton area next month?

so ive been trying to figure out if its worth making the drive this year, last time i went i scored a pretty decent deal on some coax and a few connectors but honestly most of the swap meet tables were kinda picked over by the time i got there. thinking about going early this time if i can get the saturday off work. anyone else from this area planning to head out? would be cool to meet up and hit the flea market tables together, easier to spot good stuff with more eyes

yeah im going, been going for like 6 years in a row now. you gotta get there right when the doors open if you want the good stuff, seriously the good HF gear disappears in like the first 45 minutes. last year i snagged an old kenwood TS-440 for way less than it goes for on qrz classifieds. bring cash too, a lot of the vendors dont do venmo or whatever

our club usually does a group carpool from the fairgrounds parking lot around 6am if thats not too early for you. just shoot a message to the club secretary, i think there might still be spots. we also do breakfast at a diner nearby before which is honestly half the reason i go lol
