so ive been going to this one for like 4 years now and its honestly one of the better ones in the region, not too huge but still enough tables to find deals on stuff. last year i picked up a barely used 2m rig for like 40 bucks which was insane. anyway just wondering if anyone else from the club is planning to show up, maybe we could carpool or something since parking got kinda bad the last couple times

yeah im planning on going, my buddy from the repeater club mentioned the swap meet portion is gonna be bigger this year cause they moved to the fairgrounds instead of the VFW hall. should be way more table space. I always end up spending more than i should on coax and connectors i dont need but hey thats half the fun right

this will actually be my first hamfest if i go, just got my tech license like 6 weeks ago. is it worth going even if i dont really know what im looking for yet? dont want to feel totally lost walking around
