Our club needs fresh meeting ideas - running out of steam

Been secretary of our local ARC for 3 years now. Attendance is down to maybe 8-10 regulars out of 40+ members. Same old show-and-tell, business meeting format is getting stale. Thinking about doing a homebrew night or maybe a POTA presentation. What's working for your clubs these days?

Homebrew nights are fantastic, especially if you recognize new hams with special categories. We also started doing club POTA challenges which got people excited about getting on the air together.

Look into the National Presenters Panel - they connect clubs with speakers from across the country. We had a great digital modes presentation last month via Zoom. Beats the same local voices every meeting.

Try tech tutorials on hot topics like SDR. Our club does hands-on nights where everyone brings their laptop and we work through something together. Fox hunts are also great for getting people out of the meeting room.
