so i've been interested in ham radio for a while now, like years honestly, but i keep putting it off because i dont really know where to start. i looked up the technician exam once and it seemed really intimidating with all the electrical theory stuff and i just kind of closed the tab and forgot about it for another few months.
anyway i'm trying to actually do this now. is there like a standard way people study for it? i downloaded some app i found but i'm not sure if just memorizing the questions is the right approach or if i should actually understand the material. also how hard is the test really, i feel like people online say its easy but then i see some of the questions and they look pretty rough to me
any advice would be appreciated, i genuinely have no idea what im doing here
