anyone going to the hamfest in Dayton area next month or is it just me

so ive been trying to figure out if its worth the drive this year, last time i went was like 2019 and it was pretty great but i dunno if the swap meet is still as good or if its mostly just vendors now. my buddy said the flea market part has shrunk a lot but he tends to exaggerate. thinking about making a weekend of it if enough people are heading that way, maybe carpool or something. also our local club is doing a thing the same weekend which is kinda annoying timing wise

yeah the flea market is definitely smaller than it used to be but honestly still worth it imo. picked up a barely used 706 for like 280 bucks two years ago so you never know what you'll find. the vendor halls are more crowded but theres still good deals if you get there early saturday morning before everything gets picked over

im going with a couple guys from our club, we usually make a whole trip out of it. if your club thing is just a regular meeting id skip it personally, hamfests dont come around that often and you can always catch the next meeting
