Every image on this site is protected. Images appear to load from a standard images folder, but are actually served from a private, non-public directory — they cannot be accessed or downloaded directly by URL. Each image also carries an embedded fingerprint in its file data that remains intact even if the image is cropped or resized. Attempting to save or copy an image without authorization will show a marked "unauthorized" placeholder over the image.
How to use our images
We do allow reuse of our images on other websites, but prior approval is required. Once approved, we'll provide you with login access to download an authorized copy of the image. Authorized copies include a subtle watermark and copyright notice.
