anyone going to the hamfest in dayton area next month

so ive been trying to figure out if its worth making the drive out for the hamfest theyre doing near the dayton area next month, i think its the second weekend but cant remember exactly. last time i went a few years ago i picked up a decent antenna tuner for like 20 bucks and some coax but also spent way too long talking to a guy about his vintage collins gear lol. anyway my club here hasnt mentioned anything about doing a group carpool this year which is kind of a bummer because splitting gas made it way more doable. does anyone know if the swap meet portion is still a big deal or has it kind of shrunk down like some of the other fests have been doing lately

yeah the swap meet is still pretty solid from what i heard, my buddy went last fall to a similar one and said tables were pretty full. the trick is getting there early like right when doors open otherwise all the good junk is already gone. i scored a barely used MFJ tuner for almost nothing once just by being first in line basically

our club is actually doing a carpool if you're not too far, we have a few seats. also i think there's a license exam session happening the same weekend at the venue which is kinda cool for newer folks. shoot me a message if the ride thing interests you
