I found guides with 210+ practice questions and 6 full-length exams really helped. Don't just memorize answers - understand the concepts behind Ohm's law, SWR, and band characteristics. The math isn't too bad once it clicks.

Start with ARRL Exam Review - it has questions from the actual FCC pool organized by topic with explanations. I studied one subelement per week, then did random practice exams the final week. Passed with 32/35!
