50W QRP Field Kit - Need Feedback on Power Management Strategy

Building a field communications kit around my IC-7300 at 50W output for emergency preparedness. Current power budget:

  • IC-7300: 20A max transmit, 2.5A receive
  • Laptop (digital modes): 4A@12V
  • LED lighting: 1A

Planning on 100Ah LiFePO4 with 100W solar panel and backup Honda EU2200i. Anyone running similar setup? How long can you sustain 50% duty cycle operation? Looking at real-world runtime data, not just theoretical calculations.

I run almost identical - IC-7300 + 100Ah Battle Born + 200W solar. In summer with good sun, can run all day digital modes no problem. Winter or cloudy days, maybe 4-6 hours at 50% duty cycle before needing the generator. Pro tip: Add a DC-DC charger between solar and battery - prevents overcharging issues I had initially.

The EcoFlow DELTA 2 can charge 0%-80% in 50 minutes, which might be worth considering over traditional battery banks. I've been testing one for Field Day - silent operation is amazing compared to my old Yamaha genny. Runtime calculator shows about 8 hours at your power levels.

Anderson Power Poles on everything - this is critical for field ops. Also consider adding a low-voltage cutoff to protect that expensive LiFePO4. Learned this the hard way when I deep-cycled my first battery. A simple voltage monitor saved me hundreds in replacement costs.
