Log4OM vs N1MM+ for FT8 Contest Integration - Comparison

Currently using N1MM+ for major contests but considering Log4OM for daily FT8 logging and smaller digital contests. Log4OM features very powerful UDP integration supporting unlimited inbound connections from WSJT-X, N1MM, and other programs simultaneously - can even combine QSOs from multiple operators into common logbook.

Questions for those who've used both: How does Log4OM's contest scoring compare to N1MM+ for events like ARRL RTTY Roundup or WW Digi? Log4OM contest mode designed for direct logging, not QSOs from external programs like WSJT-X. Does Log4OM handle real-time dupe checking and multiplier tracking as effectively during high-rate periods?

Also interested in Log4OM's new FT8/FT4 data reading support with JTDX, MSHV and WSJT-X integration. Worth switching from N1MM+ for mixed-mode contest operation?

N1MM+ dominates contesting globally for speed and reliability - stick with it for serious contest work. Log4OM excels for daily logging with modern UI and great integrations, but N1MM+ remains unmatched for real-time scoring and network multi-op setups.

I use both - Log4OM for daily FT8/digital logging with excellent VOACAP propagation integration, N1MM+ specifically for contests. Most users combine tools (Log4OM daily + N1MM contests) rather than trying to use one for everything.

For POTA/SOTA digital activations, Log4OM's cloud sync and modern interface beats N1MM+ hands down. But for serious contesting where every millisecond matters during pileups, N1MM+ function keys and instant dupe checking can't be beat.
