Best study methods for memorizing the Tech question pool - overwhelmed by 400+ questions

I'm about two weeks into studying for my Technician exam and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of questions (400+ in the pool). I've been using HamStudy flashcards but I keep second-guessing myself on the technical questions. Any suggestions for breaking this down into manageable chunks? Also, which topics should I focus on most - I hear the electronics sections are challenging for new folks.

Break it into the 10 subelements (T1-T0) and tackle one per day. Focus heavily on T1 (FCC rules) and T2 (operating procedures) first since you'll see 6 questions from those areas on your 35-question exam and you need 26 correct to pass. The electronics stuff in T5-T7 looks scary but there are great explanations once you understand the basics.

Remember you only need 26 out of 35 questions correct to pass, so you can miss up to 9 questions and still get your license! I used the ARRL manual alongside HamStudy and found that understanding the 'why' behind answers helped more than just memorizing. Don't skip questions during practice - always guess since you have a 25% chance of getting it right.

I just passed my Tech two weeks ago and was in the same boat! The question pool has 10 sub-pools, so I studied one section at a time until I mastered it, then moved to the next. After studying individual topics, I took practice exams to see my weak areas. The math questions seemed scary but you can actually pass without getting any of them right!
