  1. First time applying for WAS - need some guidance on LoTW vs QSL cards

    Hi folks! I'm getting close to having worked all 50 states and thinking about applying for my first WAS award. I've got about 47 states confirmed in LoTW, but I'm a bit confused about the whole process. Do I need to wait until I have all 50 confirmed in LoTW before applying, or can I submit a mixed application with some LoTW confirmations and some paper QSL cards? Also, what's the deal with the Triple Play WAS - is that worth going for as a newer ham? Any guidance from those who've been down this path would be greatly appreciated!
