so ive been going to this one for like 4 years now and its usually pretty decent, not huge but the swap tables are worth showing up early for. last year i grabbed a pretty clean TS-430 for basically nothing from some older guy cleaning out his shack. wondering if anyone else from around here is planning on making the trip, maybe we could carpool or at least grab lunch after or something. also does anyone know if the ARRL forum thing they were doing last time is happening again? i kind of want to ask someone about my General upgrade situation in person

yeah im planning on it, my club (W3 something, the one over in Hartsville) usually sets up a table there. come find us if you see a bunch of grumpy old guys arguing about coax lol. and yeah the ARRL licensing forum thing was last year i think they're doing it again, saw something on the flyer but dont quote me on that

I went two years ago and honestly wasnt super impressed but the flea market part outside was where it was at. got there right when they opened the doors and still almost missed the good stuff. if you go definitely dont bother with the inside vendor tables unless you like paying retail for connectors lol, the real deals are the guys with blankets on the ground
