so ive been trying to figure out if its worth making the drive out for the hamfest they got coming up, i think its the third weekend but i cant find the flyer anymore. last year i picked up a barely used 706 for way less than i expected so im kind of hoping lightning strikes twice lol. anybody else from this area planning to go or know if the local club is doing a carpool thing again

yeah im planning on it, went last year too and honestly the swap meet tables outside were way better than the main floor. got there early like 6:30 before it even officially opened and the serious sellers were already set up. if you wait til noon half the good stuff is gone or the prices go back up because people figure out what they have. bring cash, some of these older guys dont do venmo or whatever

our club usually does a table there if anyone wants to coordinate, i know W8something (blanking on the callsign right now) was organizing it. check the reflector i think someone posted about it last week
