so ive been trying to figure out if its worth making the drive out to the Tri-County hamfest, its like 2 hours from me and last time i went a few years back the swap meet tables were kind of sparse. wondering if anyone here has been recently and if its still worth the trip. mostly looking for a decent HF rig or maybe some coax at a reasonable price, not paying shipping if i can help it.

went last year and honestly it was better than i expected, picked up a old Kenwood TS-440 for way less than i wouldve paid on ebay. the swap meet does tend to get picked over pretty early so if you go get there when it opens dont wait around. the club had a nice tech forum going too which was worth sitting in on for a bit.

our club is actually setting up a table there this year so itll at least have that going for it lol. come find the Ridgeline ARC table if you end up coming out, we always bring a bunch of random stuff to unload
