so the Tri-County hamfest is saturday and im thinking about making the drive but its like 90 minutes each way and i dunno if its worth it. went last year and it was decent, picked up a nice MFJ antenna tuner for cheap but there wasnt a ton of tables. anybody been to it recently or know if the swap meet part has gotten bigger? also i think the local club is doing a fox hunt sunday but havent seen anything official posted yet

went two years ago and honestly it was pretty small but the guys running it are good people. heard they got a few more vendors signed up this time around. if you like digging through junk boxes its worth the trip, last time i found a working Kenwood HT for like 15 bucks buried under a pile of coax. no guarantees though lol

the fox hunt is definitely sunday, saw it on the club Facebook page. starts at 10am at the park on Route 9. bring a yagi or a tape measure yagi if you have one, last time the fox was pretty well hidden
