anyone else just enjoying the bands lately or is it just me

so ive been on 40m a lot this past week just kind of ragchewing with whoever is around and honestly its been really nice. nothing specific just good contacts, relaxed conversations, no pressure. reminds me why i got into this hobby in the first place. propagation has been decent too which helps. anyone else just been on for the fun of it lately or am i the only one sitting here with a cup of coffee talking to strangers at weird hours

yeah 40 has been good to me too, been doing a lot of late night stuff around 7.250 area just seeing whos around. caught a couple guys in the midwest last tuesday around midnight local time and we ended up talking for like two hours about nothing in particular. thats the good stuff right there. beats staring at my phone anyway

I just got my tech ticket last month so im still figuring everything out but yeah even just listening is kind of addictive. I dont fully understand everything people are saying yet but its cool just hearing it all. havent made my first contact yet but getting close i think
