anybody going to the hamfest in dayton this year or is it just me

so ive been going to hamvention basically every year since like 2011 except for the covid years obviously and im trying to figure out if any of the guys from my club are making the trip this time. last year i went solo and honestly it was fine but its way more fun when theres a group, we can split a hotel and hit the flea market early before all the good stuff gets picked up. anyone else planning on being there? also our club is doing a swap meet the weekend before at the fairgrounds if anyone is local to central ohio, i think mike is posting details on the repeater this week

yeah im going, driving up friday morning to get there before the flea market opens. last year i got there too late and missed out on a drake i had my eye on, not making that mistake again. if you want to meet up saturday afternoon by the vendor halls let me know

I've never been to Hamvention but honestly this might be the year I finally go. Been licensed about 8 months and my elmer keeps telling me I need to experience it at least once. Is it actually worth the drive from like 6 hours away or is that too far just for a hamfest
