anyone else just kinda sitting on their radio lately

so ive had my ic-7300 sitting on the desk for like three weeks barely touched it. not sure what happened, just lost the motivation i guess. used to get home and immediately fire up 40m and just ragchew for an hour or whatever but lately i dunno. work has been a lot and by the time i sit down i just dont feel like dealing with the noise floor and hunting for a clear freq. maybe its the season changing, propagation has been kinda meh anyway on the bands ive been checking. anyone else go through phases like this with the hobby? feels weird to admit it but im just not feeling it right now

yeah totally normal man. i went like four months without touching anything after i got my general. just burned out from studying i think. what got me back was honestly just turning it on with zero pressure, not even trying to make a contact, just listening to some dx pile ups on 17m while i ate lunch. no log, no headset, just background noise. something about that got me interested again without feeling like i had to perform or whatever

same boat here tbh. 20m has been pretty rough lately anyway so maybe its the universe telling us to take a break lol. ill probably get sucked back in when contest season really kicks off, hard to ignore all that activity even if you dont wanna particpate
