so ive been seeing some flyers about the Tri-County hamfest coming up on the 14th and was wondering if any of you guys are planning to head out there. i went last year and picked up a pretty decent 2m/70cm mobile rig for like 40 bucks which was a steal, the swap tables were packed. just curious if its worth making the drive again or if turnout has been dropping off like some of the other local fests around here

yeah im planning on going, me and a couple guys from the club are carpooling out there. last time we went the flea market stuff was decent but honestly half the fun is just running into people you havent seen since field day. if you do go get there early, like right when gates open, because all the good stuff on the tables gets picked over real fast

I went two years ago but skipped last year. heard the vendor hall was a bit thin but the swap meet outside was still pretty good. might go depends on weather honestly, last time it rained and half the outdoor tables packed up early which was kind of a bummer
