anyone going to the hamfest in Dayton area next month?

so ive been trying to figure out if its worth the drive this year, last time i went i picked up a pretty decent MFJ tuner for like 20 bucks and a whole box of coax connectors from some old timer who was basically giving stuff away. wondering if anyone else from the club is planning to go or if we could carpool or something. also wasnt there supposed to be a swap meet closer to home sometime in april? i heard something about it at the last club meeting but i wasnt really paying attention

yeah im going, me and a couple guys from the repeater group are leaving friday night to get there early saturday morning. always worth it if you like digging through junk tables, half the fun is just talking to people honestly. the swap meet you're thinking of is the one at the fairgrounds, i think its the 3rd weekend of april but dont quote me on that, check the club website

I went to Dayton for the first time last year and honestly it was overwhelming but in a good way. spent way too much money on stuff I probably didnt need but whatever. if you do go get there early like right when doors open, the good deals go fast
