anyone else just not feel like getting on the air lately

i dont know man, been a licensed ham for about 6 years now and lately ive just been sitting at my desk staring at the rig and not really feeling motivated to key up. not sure if its the hobby or just life stuff getting in the way. the bands have been decent from what i can tell on the cluster but i just havent been bothered. anyone go through phases like this? feels weird to admit it

yeah happens to me every winter honestly. i'll go weeks without even turning the radio on then one day i just hear someone working some rare dx and suddenly im all in again. dont sweat it, it comes back

Oh man I went through something exactly like this after I upgraded to Extra. Spent so much time studying that when I finally had the ticket I kind of just... didn't know what to do with it. What got me back into it was joining a local net, honestly even if nets feel a little boring they kind of kick you back into the habit of sitting down at the radio regularly. That and I started messing around with WSPR just to have something low effort running in the background while I did other stuff.
