Hamfest this weekend anyone going to the Tri-County one?

so the Tri-County ARA is doing their annual hamfest Saturday and i havent been in a few years, wondering if its still worth dragging myself out there. last time i went i picked up a really clean 706 for way less than i expected so you never know. anybody know if the swap meet part is still decent or did it turn into mostly dealers selling new stuff at retail prices like some of these have been lately

went last year and honestly the tailgate swap was still pretty good, probably 40 or 50 tables worth of guys unloading shacks. did see more commercial vendors than i remembered but theres still plenty of the old timers hauling out boxes of stuff they havent touched in 20 years which is where the deals are. get there early tho, like before 8 if you can because the good stuff goes fast

im actually going with a guy from my club, its my first hamfest so not sure what to expect but everyone keeps telling me to bring cash and wear comfortable shoes lol. is there usually like a license exam session at these things? my buddy mentioned some of them do that
