anyone going to the Tri-County hamfest next month?

so ive been trying to figure out if its worth the drive this year, last time i went was like 3 years ago and it was pretty decent swap meet tables but a lot of the gear was overpriced junk honestly. heard they moved the venue to the fairgrounds which might mean more space for vendors? anyway just curious if anyone from here is planning to go, maybe we could carpool or at least meet up at the club table if the local club is doing one

yeah im going, my buddy and i usually make a day of it. the new fairgrounds location should be way better than that church parking lot they used last time lol. if you want to meet up im usually at the ARRL table first thing then i wander the flea market for a couple hours. always end up buying something i dont need but thats half the fun

I went last year and honestly the morning session is where all the good deals are, stuff gets picked over fast. Also I think the club is doing a foxhunt in the afternoon if you stick around for that, saw something about it on the repeater net a few weeks back but dont quote me on that
