Getting to Know the Community

Calling all stations! Whether you got your license last week or have been on the air for decades, we want to get to know you. Tell us your license class, how long you’ve been in the hobby, which bands you work, and how you like to get on the air. It only takes a minute.

Your participation matters. Ham Radio Base isn’t run from the top down. It’s built by the people who use it. Your answers help us build the community you want, and we read every response. They tell us which forums to expand, which beginner guides and technical articles to write, and which Learning Center courses to create next.

If most of you are working toward your General, we’ll focus there. If a lot of you are getting into POTA, digital modes, or antenna building, you’ll see more of that too. The more of you who take part, the better we can make Ham Radio Base for everyone.

Don’t stop at the vote. Share more about yourself in your profile: your first contact, your current rig, the band you can’t stay off of, or what got you interested in radio. Some of the best conversations start with a simple introduction.

Thanks for being part of Ham Radio Base. We’re glad you’re here.
