anyone going to the hamfest in Dayton area next month?

so i heard the regional hamfest is coming up and im thinking about making the drive this year, been a few years since ive been to one and last time i picked up a pretty decent used HF rig for like half what it would've cost new. anyway just wondering if anyone else from around here is planning on going and maybe wants to carpool or meetup at the fleamarket tables in the morning when all the good stuff is still there. my buddy says if you dont get there early the best gear is already gone by like 9am

yeah the fleamarket tables go fast, no kidding. i missed out on a barely used tuner last year because i showed up at 10 and some guy already had it tucked under his arm. definitely get there at opening if you can. not sure about the carpool thing im coming from the other direction but ill probably be there saturday morning if the weather cooperates

our club is actually doing a group trip and we rented a van lol. theres still one spot if your interested, we're leaving pretty early like 6am to beat traffic and get first crack at the swap tables. shoot me a message if you want details. also the club meeting this thursday we're gonna talk about what the club booth is doing at the event if anyone wants to help out with that
