anyone going to the Tri-County hamfest next month

so ive been going to this one for like 4 years now and its usually pretty decent for finding older gear, last year i picked up a barely used 706 for way under market and a bunch of coax connectors for almost nothing. just wondering if anyone else from this area is planning to show up, maybe we could meet up at the tailgate section early before all the good stuff gets picked over

also heard the club is doing a fox hunt in the afternoon this time which sounds fun, never done one before actually

yeah im planning to be there, usually get there right when the gates open around 7 because the good deals are gone by 8:30 honestly. the tailgate guys sometimes show up even earlier to set up so if you walk the lot before the main hall opens thats where the real finds are. last year some guy had a pile of old Kenwood stuff he just wanted gone before he had to load it back in the truck lol

the fox hunt thing is worth doing if youve never tried it, our club did one at the spring picnic and it took me embarassingly long to find the thing even with a tape measure yagi

I might swing by, depends on if I can get out of work early Friday to make the drive not terrible. what's the parking situation like, last hamfest I went to was kind of a nightmare trying to find a spot and then haul stuff back
