so ive been on more than usual this past few weeks, mostly just spinning the dial on 40 and 17m in the evenings after work. not really chasing anything specific just... listening. picked up a guy in Slovenia last tuesday which was cool, propagation was surprisingly decent for how the solar flux has been looking. anyway just curious what everyone else has been up to. feels like some nights are dead quiet and others theres stuff everywhere and i cant quite predict it anymore. maybe im just getting old lol

yeah same here honestly. 17m has been treating me pretty well around sunset, had a nice run of European stations last weekend without really trying. 40 gets kind of crowded with the nets and stuff but late night its actually pretty decent for DX if you can stay awake. i think the flux has been all over the place, checked pskreporter the other day and signals were bouncing weird. just gotta keep the rig on i guess

Slovenia nice, i havent worked them yet. im still pretty new so a lot of stuff on the bands sounds like noise to me but im slowly figuring out what im hearing. what antenna you running?
