anyone going to the fairgrounds hamfest next month

so the club posted on their website that the annual hamfest at the county fairgrounds is coming up on the 15th, been going every year for like 6 years now and its always a decent time even if the fleamarket tables have been getting smaller lately. last year i picked up a pretty clean TS-440 for almost nothing from some old timer who was clearing out his shack. wondering if anyone else from around here is planning to show up, maybe we could grab breakfast at that diner across the road before it opens like a few of us did last time

yeah im planning on it, got a bunch of old coax and some misc connectors i want to unload and hopefully find a decent mic for my 706. the fleamarket has def been shrinking but you still find good stuff if you get there early enough. what time you usually show up

I've never actually been to a hamfest before, just got my tech license a few months ago. Is it worth going even if you don't really have money to spend on gear? Like is there stuff to do or learn or is it mostly just buying and selling
