Finally made my first QSO after being licensed for 3 months!

Got my tech license back in September but just been too nervous to get on the air. Today I finally bit the bullet and called CQ on 146.52 with my Baofeng UV-5R. A really friendly OM came back immediately and we had a great 20 minute chat about antennas and local repeaters. The mic fright was way worse than the actual contact! Breaking the ice really is more important than having perfect equipment. Already planning my next QSO for this weekend.
