New to ham radio and feeling overwhelmed by the 10 sub-elements in the Technician question pool. Which ones should I prioritize in my study schedule? I have about 3 weeks to prepare and want to use my time efficiently.

Are there certain sub-elements that are easier to memorize versus others that need deeper understanding?

Focus on T1 (FCC Rules) and T2 (Operating Procedures) first - these are heavy on the exam and mostly memorization. Then tackle T5 (Electronics Math) since it builds foundation for T6/T7 circuits. Safety (T0) is straightforward but critical.

I passed last month and found T8 (Modulation/Signals) and T9 (Antennas) easier to understand once I grasped the basics from T5. The propagation stuff in T3 was mostly memorization for me.

Don't neglect T4 (Amateur Practices) - it's only one question on the exam but covers important operating etiquette. The exam selects one question from each subelement, and you need 26 correct out of 35 to pass, so every point counts!
