so ive been trying to figure out if its worth making the drive this year, last time i went was like 3 years ago and i had a blast but also spent way too much money on stuff i didnt need lol. anybody else planning on heading out that way? would be cool to maybe meet up if theres enough of us going from this area

also not sure if our local club is doing a group carpool thing again, havent seen anything on the email list about it yet

yeah im going, been going pretty much every year for the past decade give or take. its always worth it even if you just walk around and look at stuff. the flea market tables alone are worth the trip, picked up a barely used 706 a couple years back for almost nothing from some old timer who was getting out of the hobby. just budget yourself or you will absolutely regret it monday morning when you check your bank account

dont think theres an official club carpool this year, at least nothing came across our nets but someone mentioned something at the last meeting so maybe check with the secretary

this is actually my first year thinking about going, is it pretty beginner friendly or is it mostly for people who already know what theyre looking for? i just got my tech ticket like two months ago so i dont really know what half the stuff on those swap tables even is yet
