anyone going to the dayton area hamfest next month?

so ive been trying to figure out if its worth the drive this year, last time i went was maybe 3 years ago and i scored a pretty decent HF rig for way under market price but also spent like 4 hours walking around in the sun and came home with a sunburn and a bag full of random coax connectors i probably didnt need. my buddy KC8 something is going but he lives closer so its easier for him. anyone else planning on making the trip? also does the club still do that breakfast thing saturday morning before the gates open

yeah im going, been going every year for like a decade at this point. the breakfast thing is still happening last i heard, someone on the club email list mentioned it a few weeks back. honestly the best deals are always in the tailgate area not the indoor vendors, at least thats been my experience. get there early though like way earlier than you think you need to

I went for the first time last year and honestly didnt know what to expect. ended up buying a power supply I didnt really need but it was cheap so whatever. the flea market part was cool, talked to a lot of people. definitely going again if I can get the weekend off work
