anyone else just sitting around listening lately

 Loading...

so ive been on more of a listening kick the past few weeks than actually transmitting. just sitting with coffee in the morning and scanning around 40m mostly. its weird how much you can pick up when your not trying to do anything in particular. heard a guy working dx into japan yesterday and the pile up was just insane, everybody talking over everybody like usual lol. anyway just curious if anyone else does this or am i just getting lazy

oh man yeah i do this all the time. honestly sometimes its more relaxing than actually getting on and trying to work someone. 40m in the early morning is something else, you never know whats gonna pop up. i had a whole cup go cold last week because i was too into listening to some net i never even heard before. not lazy at all, thats just part of the hobby i think.

same here, 17m has been pretty good too if you havent tried it. less traffic so you can actually hear whats going on without the chaos
