anyone going to the tri-county hamfest this weekend?

 Loading...

so the tri-county fest is coming up saturday and im debating whether its worth the drive. last year they had a pretty decent swap meet but half the tables were just old CB radios and random coax connectors nobody wanted. hoping its better this year. anyone else planning on going? also does anyone know if the club is doing a license testing session there, my buddy wants to get his tech and it would be cool if he could just knock it out at the fest

yeah im going, already got my table reserved actually. bringing a bunch of stuff i cleared out of the shack last month, some old HTs, a power supply that works fine just dont need it anymore, few rolls of coax. if you see a guy with a red popup canopy thats probably me lol. and yeah i think there is a VE session, saw something about it on the club facebook page but dont quote me on that

went last year and honestly wasnt that impressed but my club president said they got more vendors signed up this time. might be worth it if your not driving more than like an hour or so
