i dont know whats wrong with me lately, i used to get on 40m every night after dinner and now i just kind of... dont. set up the rig last tuesday and just stared at it for like ten minutes then went and watched tv instead. not sure if its the bands being garbage or just me being lazy. propagation has been weird too which doesnt help. anyway just curious if anyone else goes through phases like this or if im just losing interest which i hope is not the case because ive been doing this for 11 years now

oh man yeah this happens to me every january/february without fail. i think its just seasonal stuff honestly. what usually gets me back into it is either a contest weekend or some kind of project, like last year i started building a simple end fed and that got me interested again for months. sometimes you just need a reason to key up i guess

same tbh. havent touched my 857 in like 3 weeks. bands have been rough on 40 lately tho so maybe thats it
