so ive been wanting to get my ham license for probably two years now and i keep putting it off but im finally doing it. i downloaded some study guide pdf i found online but honestly its kind of overwhelming, theres so much stuff in there about like ohms law and propagation and i dont even know what half of it is relevant to yet
a friend told me to just use hamstudy.org and do the flashcard thing until i pass the practice tests, is that actually how most people do it or is there more to it than that. i dont want to just memorize answers without knowing what any of it means but also i dont want to spend six months studying either, i just want to get on the air
any tips on what to actually focus on? some of the electrical theory questions look really hard but im not sure if theres a lot of them on the actual test or just a few
