anyone going to the dayton hamvention swap meet area this year

so im finally making the trip out to dayton this year after missing it like 3 years in a row, mostly just want to hit the flea market tables honestly. last time i went i picked up a barely used ts-430 for way less than it was worth and ive been chasing that feeling ever since lol. anybody else going? maybe we can meet up or something, i know our local club is sending a group but i dont think they have anything formally organized, just kind of showing up friday morning.

yeah im going, been going almost every year since like 2009 except for the covid years. the swap meet is honestly the main draw for me too, though get there early because the good stuff disappears fast. i mean really fast. saw a guy basically running through the rows at 7am with a cart. bring cash and know what stuff is worth before you go or youll overpay, some of the sellers know exactly what theyre doing.

this is actually my first year going, my elmer dragged me into it. not sure what to expect but kind of excited? he keeps saying dont buy anything from the first two rows which i thought was weird but apparently thats a thing
