anyone going to the dayton area hamfest next month?

so ive been trying to figure out if its worth making the drive this year, last time i went i picked up a decent antenna tuner for like 20 bucks from some old timer who clearly had no idea what he had lol. wondering if the swap meet is still as good as it used to be or if its gotten smaller. feels like every year theres less and less actual gear and more vendor tables selling the same chinese handhelds

our club is also doing a table this year if anyone wants to come find us, we'll have some donated equipment from a silent key's estate which should be interesting. lot of vintage stuff apparently

went last year and honestly it was alright, not as crazy as it was maybe 10 years ago but still worth it if you're in driving distance. found a pretty clean HF rig for a good price, guy just wanted it gone. the flea market part opens early so get there before 7 if you can, best stuff goes fast

our club carpools every year, we usually grab breakfast nearby first and then hit the swap meet when it opens. if you want to tag along with us let me know, we have a couple extra seats this time. also the talks are actually decent this year from what i saw on the schedule, theres one on digital modes that im curious about
