anyone else just not feel like getting on the air lately

i dont know man, ive had my ft-991a sitting here for like 3 weeks and barely touched it. not sure if its the weather or what but i just havent felt motivated to fire it up. used to get on 40m every evening almost without thinking about it. now i sit down and just kind of stare at it and then go watch tv instead. maybe i need a new project or something to shake things off. anyone else go through phases like this?

yeah totally, happens to me every winter. what usually gets me going again is just picking up the mic and calling CQ even if i dont expect anyone to answer. sometimes you get a surprise contact and the bug bites again. or find a contest weekend coming up, even if you only do an hour of it, that usually does it for me.

ive been the same way tbh. think i made maybe two qsos last month. life gets busy and the radio just sits there. dont stress it, the hobby will still be there when you feel like it again
