so ive been using N1MM for a while now mostly for contests and it does what it needs to do but honestly outside of contest weekends its kind of overkill and the interface feels like it was designed in 2003 and never really updated visually. not complaining about functionality just the look and feel gets to me after a while.
anyway i started looking at Log4OM because a few guys at the club swear by it for day to day logging and general station management, it looks way more modern and apparently handles WSJT-X integration pretty well which is something i care about since i run FT8 a fair amount in between contests. my question is whether anyone has actually made the switch from N1MM to Log4OM or runs both and what the workflow is like when contest season hits again. like does Log4OM hold up for something like CQWW or SS or do you end up going back to N1MM just for those weekends
also curious how people are handling the WSJT-X side of things, right now i just let WSJT-X log to its own ADIF and then import periodically which feels clunky but works. is there a cleaner way people are doing this
